Seeing Double....Part III

ModCloth crazy price jacking strikes again...see Part I here and Part II here.

I'm always amazed ModCloth gets away with this as much as they do, especially with how price sensitive people are these days...I always hesitate to buy from ModCloth because I'm so afraid I'll see the same item on another site for way cheaper and kick myself for not shopping around.

See this cute sea green dress from ModCloth - a whopping $84.99...

ModCloth.com - $84.99

Or...save a chunk of change and get it for only $68 from Lulus.com... that's a significant price difference. What gives ModCloth?

Lulus.com - $68

I've always like Modcloth stuff, but it does seem overpriced. And I always get nervous on not knowing the quality of the fabric when I buy online. You never know what you're going to get!

Oh wow! Thank you for sharing. Now I will be a lot more conscious before ordering from there! Plus, Lulu's actually shows the dress how it will look on you/true colors while ModCloth definitely doesn't!

This always happens! And just a heads up, a lot of times, dress from Lulu's are also on www.gojane.com for an even cheaper price, and sometimes with a discount! Go Jane can be a litttleeee interesting at times, but you can find some of the Lulu's dresses if you look!

Check Ruche's web site also http://www.shopruche.com , they often have the same items as Modcloth, and sometimes in other colors, but always at a lower price.

I have noticed this a lot before too! But I will say... I like that ModCloth doesn't use models. The clothes look better. The LuLu's models just aren't working...

I've noticed this as well and it drives me crazy! Yet stuff on modcloth always seems to sell out! They also don't seem to have the best quality when I read the reviews..little ridiculous!
