Winter Wedding: First Dance

Perfect timing for Valentine's Day! Our videographer (after several pushy emails from me) finally uploaded a rough, raw version of our first dance...and the father/daughter dance and mother/son dance as well.

What's so special about our first dance, you ask?

It starts out with our inside joke song that really is like 'our song'... "What are you doing the rest of your life" by Barbara Streisand.

But quickly morphs into a full-out Michael Jackson remix choreographed dance...complete with aviators, glitter gloves and on the groom, glitter socks.

Why MJ? My husband is OBSESSED with Michael Jackson...he practiced his moonwalk (not a great shot of it in this video) for months!

We told no one. Only our DJ, videographer, and photographer knew about this. Everyone was completely surprised and you can tell from the cheers once we start the choreographed part.

Big thanks to friend Chris "DJ Rehab" McCoy for mixing the songs for us!

The video is a little rough since it's a raw cut and the music isn't synched as well - I'm hoping our DVD will have a really cool edited version....but we couldn't wait that long. We wanted something to share! So here it is! You can stop it after the dance ends...unless you really want to see us dance with our parents. :)

Enjoy!

Um, we totally did the same thing! We took dance classes and started off with a Jason Mraz song playing from the iPod and then the band broke out into MJ's "The Way You Make Me Feel". It was so much fun!
