So throughout my big day, I wore three different pair of shoes...
The first pair doesn't really count, since I wore them solely for photos. It's really hard to balance en pointe on carpet, but the photos turned out really beautiful.
Next I put on my official shoes. I knew I wanted navy blue shoes and I looked high and low for a pair I would fall in love with. I even bought (and still have) two pairs of navy heels I ended up not using...because when I laid my eyes on the polka dot Kate Spades I knew they were the ones.
Of course I saw them on a Kate Spade sale on Rue La La...sold out. But a lucky search on Ebay found a pair.. in my size! Meant to be.
They were cute, comfortable and fun. I decorated the soles with the traditional "I do" and a "And they lived happily ever after...".
At the reception, I had a third pair of shoes waiting on me - blue sequin Converse sneakers to match the Converse shoes my Groom was wearing. I slipped them on after dinner, just in time for dancing the rest of the night.

I love the pictures with the ballet pair. Very pretty!
I love all these shoes and the personality! I wore three pairs as well. I got married in gold jimmy choos (found at the off fifth outlet), switched into shoes that went around my ankle for our first dance and rounded out the night in flip flops. If I were to do it again I'd wear Toms all night :)
Those shoes are amazing!!
awesome shoes!! what a great idea. and isn't Rue La La the BEST?! :)
I love, love, love that you used the ballet shoes! I took dance for like 14 years growing up, so they have a soft spot in my heart. Even though I stopped taking ballet at like age 5 bc I couldn't stand still or be quiet for long enough :-)
so cute... love! especially the point pictures! adorable!
I am loving the pictures you have with the ballet shoes! Very unique and chic! xo
