Forever21 strikes again...

I've read how Forever21 tends to copy designers with their clothes and then sell them way cheaper... and now I've seen it for myself...

Check out this gorgeous skirt from Anthro - I bought this when it went on sale for probably $60 or so dollars. It was originally over $90... I ended up returning it because the fit was off, but I thought it was so pretty...

Well today I was browsing Forever21.com and came across this skirt - not identical, but pretty darn close...even down to the waistband!?! Should I feel guilty that I contributed to Forever21's cheating and bought it? It was only $15.80... how could I not!?! Fingers crossed it fits better than the Anthro skirt.

I have read in US weekly and other magazines like it that Forever 21 gets sued ALL THE TIME for stealing ideas (like right off the runway!!) interesting... still I shop there. no shame haha ;)

I posted a while ago about a dress I got from there that was the exact same as a designer one I had seen. I have no shame...haha

WOW - that's really close and SO much cheaper. So I just found your blog - love it! And I too always have two books up - one i'm reading and one i'm listening too. I've read Breaking Dawn and The Help - love both! Anywho - f21 is awesome for cheap, trendy fun stuff!

Well Anthro's been known to "take inspiration from" higher end designs themselves, so I guess all is fair in fashion - the consumer ends up winning, so it is fine by me!

I love forever 21 since it came to Charleston, the not-so-bad trek from Summerville to Downtown is weighing on my gas tank, but its something about that store that draws me in, could it be the low prices, the adorable clothes, the trendy location! idk? But I love it, and that skirt! I bought a skirt from F21 as well but its shorter and I can't wait to wear it! You should be happy with your purchase! A penny saved is a penny earned or however that saying goes??
